Aircraft Deicing Management Training Course
A training course for non-spraying management and supervisory teams that takes a holistic view of the requirements of the De/Anti-Icing process.
Conformant with the latest requirements of SAE International AS6285 & AS6286.
Overview
Aircraft ground de-icing is a complex and safety-critical operation, particularly for those responsible for supervising or managing it. This Deicing Management training course is designed for non-spraying personnel, combining essential technical knowledge with the key management disciplines required to deliver and manage safe, efficient and compliant de-icing operations.
The course covers aviation regulations, SAE International requirements and industry best practices, including the clean aircraft concept and fluid management. It also explores Safety Management Systems (SMS), focusing on risk assessment, occurrence reporting and training requirements specific to de-icing operations.
The programme concludes with a detailed review of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, including preparation for DAQCP audits and understanding audit requirements.
This is a highly interactive course incorporating group exercises and discussions. For maximum effectiveness, it is delivered in a classroom environment.
