Although a mandatory element of SMS, many seem to be sceptical about the value that well-designed and robust auditing can bring to the industry. It's not just a box-ticking exercise but, well delivered, can drive continuous improvement.
Our audit process provides data, enabling us to identify potential weak areas that may affect regulatory approvals, personal safety or the organisation's reputation. As an initiator of action, improvement and rectification auditing can positively impact cost, reduce injury and potentially save lives.
