Aircraft Deicing Auditing Training Course
De/Anti-Icing training course with an introduction to auditing techniques for De/Anti-Icing Operations
Introduction
Aircraft Ground Deicing involves a complex process, crucial to the operation of aircraft in colder weather. The Deicing Auditing training course is built from a demand for a Deicing course aimed at those auditing and overseeing Quality Management in de/anti-icing. The course attempts to remove the 'enigma' by combining the key need-to-know technical elements of de/anti-icing with the best practices in auditing this vital process.
During the course, we look at the regulations, SAE International requirements and industry best practice, clean aircraft concept and fluid management before turning our attention to Quality Management and best practices in applying audit techniques in a de/anti-icing context.
The duration of this course is 2 days.
For those not wanting an auditing add-on, or for management and supervisory ground staff, we can also offer our Aircraft Ground Deicing Training Course for operatives, our Aircraft Deicing Management Course ideal for non-spraying management and supervisory teams who are required to oversee the the de/anti-icing process or Deicing Basic Operations for non-spraying front line staff.

1. Why is it important?
Removal of all contamination from aircraft surfaces during cold and freezing weather is a must. The industry operates the "clean aircraft" concept to ensure that safety is never compromised and that all contamination is removed prior to flight. The Quality Management and auditing which surrounds the De/Anti-Icing operation is equally as crucial to ensuring safe winter operations.

2. Who should attend?
This course is suited to aviation auditors or those working in quality assurance/quality management, to gain an understanding of applying audit techniques to the de/anti-icing operation.
It should be noted that, although similar in nature, this course does not provide or qualify attendees to undertake DAQCP audits.
